I painted this last semester for my Painting I class. Surprisingly enough this is the first painting i have ever done with acryllics... and i have used watercolor paints only back in 7th or 8th grade. ^_^

**Please leave me a comment to tell me what you think about my painting. I really wish to know if you like it or not. All comments and critiques are greatly appreciated! ^_^

If you can't tame him with your eyes or your smile, go to plan B and grab the whip.

It's very nice! It sprt of appears as a contemporary style the way it's painted. Also, the colopurs give me a similar feeling. It's not common that I see a modernized flower so this is different and quite good. I like how big it is too, when ever I've painted in my life I can only do smaller sized work and work with small details.

Thank you so much! I wasn’t really sure how it would be taken but I am glad you liked it! ^_^ In Georgia O’Keeffe’s original painting “White Trumpet” she didn’t use purple on it. The background was just a dark blue, green, and black color. But I wanted to add something of my own to it to give it a bit of my style . The painting is very large. The canvas is about 2 ½ ft tall and 4 ft wide. It was very difficult to carry around school!

hey hey, I can't really tell anything from the photo you've taken, but it looks pretty nice
I remember when I was in ap art in highschool, my teacher nitpicked one thing in particular with me. more contrast! contrast is very important, and I think you did pretty well. Maybe at the center of the flower, next time remember to have more shadow because that part should be hidden in shadow a little.
i hope that helps a little? otherwise it looks great already xD
